In this exhibition, Acquavella Galleries presents works by a range of modern masters consistent of the gallery’s program. The show will feature work by Vija Celmins, Andre Derain, Richard Diebenkorn, Jean Dubuffet, Sam Francis, Lucian Freud, Arshile Gorky, Mark Grotjahn, Philip Guston, Jasper Johns, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Robert Rauschenberg, Susan Rothenberg, Jean Paul Riopelle, James Rosenquist, Ed Ruscha, David Smith, Wayne Thiebaud, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Andy Warhol. Focusing on drawings by these masters, the exhibition will include pastels, watercolors, gouaches, and collages, in addition to drawings done in graphite, charcoal, and ink on paper. The exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated color catalogue.
